Afternoon in Vegas
After spending a few days in the red rocks of Utah, my boyfriend and I found ourselves with some time to spare in the upside-down city of Las Vegas. The desert temperature was a scorching 100 degrees, but we managed to go up and down The Strip a few times before cowering inside.
I have passed through Las Vegas many times over the past ten years, but I had no idea how large it was until this trip. Personally I am not much of a gambler, but it sure is an experience to walk by building after building full of people at the various tables and slot machines. My favorite part was (obviously) the shopping, as every store I could possibly want to visit was within a mile of where I was standing.
My outfit was simple and airy enough to deal with the heat plus a full few hours of walking. I absolutely love this shade of green with my current hair coloring. Rompers/playsuits are the best when you are packing for warm weather since they often weigh next-to-nothing, and they need only a good pair of shoes and some jewelry to look polished. This one is from Urban Outfitters and is the most flattering, lightweight material. Unfortunately for many of us there are only a few more summer-weather days left, but you could easily throw a sweater or jacket on top and add some boots for a fall look. I have had my eye on this coat from ASOS recently, as well as these boots from Seychelles and I think they would look great as a fall-inspired combo!
Thanks so much for reading! The details of the outfit are below.
