Autumn Attire – The Fall Shoe Edit
As someone raised in the Pacific Northwest, there is nothing I love more than the transition from Summer into Fall. The colors on the trees here in Washington become the most beautiful shades, and the warm hues stick around until the first big rainstorm sweeps them away. With the temperatures dropping to a chillier 60 degrees, it is time to dig out my warmer wardrobe and revisit old favorites.
This top from Urban Outfitters is from their Urban Renewal line, which simply means that most of the items are uniquely made from vintage and recycled materials. The extremely thick rollneck plus the bold patterns bring me right into the season, and I love having it around while I visit my hometown.
Boots and sweaters are the staples in my Fall outfits, and these shoes from Steve Madden fit so perfectly with the reds, orange, and yellows of Autumn. It is a lace up ankle shoe with a block heel, and this particular style of heel seems to be trending everywhere. Below I have a few shoe and boot ideas with the same block heel look at varying heights that I think are perfect for a transition from warm weather into Fall and Winter.
The rest of my outfit details can be seen at the bottom. What is your favorite wardrobe staple for fall? Let me know in the comments. Enjoy the beautiful weather!
