Sleeves for Spring

Everyone predicted that bell sleeves were going to be ridiculously HUGE this spring, (both literally and figuratively!) and of course, here we are in March and every top I see has an excessively large opening at the wrist. Off-the-shoulder tops have stuck around from last spring, so luckily we can re-use our previous year’s purchases, but to add to your list of sleeve detailing, you can also include high shoulder, 80’s style tops and rounded shoulder, poplin shirts to your summer wish list. Its a lot to keep track of, but at least your warm-weather wardrobe will be bursting with character!

Wear it Loud

I remember being quite fond of bell-sleeves as a teen, and do not mind their loud return. I am especially pleased with this white button-up from Roségal; quite versatile and easy to wear alone or layered. I added my favorite cut-off levi’s and some platform mules to really make this outfit a casual-preppy combo. I think layering the cropped vest on top really brings out the size and cut of the sleeve, and it’s such an affordable way to wear this trend for the spring.

Let me know what you think in the comments!
