The bralette: blissfully freeing and oh-so cute. What is not to love? I personally do not wear them out and about alone, but I think a well layered lacy bralette is attractive and flirty. If you have not already picked up one this past summer, it might be just the right time to do so. The photos coming in for the approaching SS17 designer collections showcase bralettes worn overtop t-shirts, sweaters, and more staple items you probably already have in your closet.

I have a couple bralletes from the past few seasons, and after a long time in front of the mirror decided to keep the top half of my outfit uniform: black on black. Pairing this black bralette with a bodysuit from Zara was just ticket to showing it off without drawing too much attention to my chest. I then slipped into this pair of mom jeans, which wear so well with bodysuits, and some hot-red lipstick.

What are your thoughts on the new bralette trends. Yea or nay? Let me know in the comments, and don’t forget to subscribe!
